Defense help

While i wait for approval from my lead to come over and help for a bit here is what we use.


- Quick reference guide showing THE MINIMAL DEFENSE PROTOCOL every base should have. Remember that you should always strive to EXCEED these minimal standards!


If any of you know about good lectures about AE and his secrets, feel free to tell us, we will be glad to put them here too.

Level 10 minimum defenses:
-- 10+ Fighters (FT) to protect your trade routes
-- 10/10 Ion Turrets · Build 10/10 Plasma or Missile, if your tech is low

Level 15 minimums:
-- 500 FT
-- 3 Command Centers
-- 10/10 Ion Turrets
-- 10/10 Photon Turrets

Level 20 minimums:
-- 1,500 FT
-- 10 CCs
-- 10/10 Photon
-- 10/10 Disruptor Turrets

Level 25 minimums:
-- 2,000 FT
-- 1 Battleship (BS) · Helps with Fighter Drops
-- 10 CCs
-- 10/10 Photon
-- 10/10 Disruptor
-- 5/5 Deflection Shields

Level 30 minimums:
-- 3,000 FT
-- 1 Dreadnought (DN) · If you don't have rings, use 2 BS
-- 10 CCs
-- 10/10 Disruptor
-- 5/5 Planetary Shields (If you can't get them in time, use 10/10 Deflection Shields)
-- 5/5 Planetary Rings · Aim for 10/10 on moons/asteroids

Level 35 minimums:
-- 5,000-7,500 FT
-- 1 DN per level of Rings
-- 15 CCs · More is always better
-- 10/10 Disruptor · As Many As Desired, But 10/10 is Minimum with 10/10 rings
-- 10/10 PShields
-- 10/10 PRings · Aim for 15/15 on asteroids

Level 40 minimums:
-- 10,000-15,000 FT
-- 1 DN per level of Rings
-- 15 CCs · More is always better
-- 15/15 Disruptor · Add More As Desired
-- 10/10 PShields
-- 15/15 PRings · Aim for 20/20+ on asteroids

Minimums for a high level JumpGate (JG) or Capital Base:
-- 20,000 FT
-- 1 DN per level of Rings + Plus any Mobile Fleet you have at the base
-- 20+ CCs
-- 20/20 ION Turrets · Helps with Fighter Drops (Optional)
-- 15/15 Disruptor · Add More As Desired
-- 10/10 PShields · Add More As Desired
-- 20/20 PRings · 25/25+ minimum on asteroids
